When I was a kid, my grandmother would always tell me that all they can "pamana" to me are the values that they can imbed through the rich and colorful stories of our family. She said, the family is the center of one's values and our home is the foundation of our humanity. The art piece depicts the heritage imbedded by our elders to us. As an homage to the elders of our society, this is my my heartfelt gratitude to them. In Ivatan, "Dios Mamajes" or literally translated "God will repay you".
