"Waiting to Pounce"

This artwork depicts how we can thrive even in a world filled with unexpected events. Patiently building one’s strategy Is key in being able to bounce back at life as we emerge from a long awaited solitude. Just like felines, they quietly wait hidden under covers for long periods of time, lock their eyes on a goal and pounce the second they get a chance. As humans, we can learn from these subtleties of nature and as we are constantly challenged everyday to harmoniously co-exist with one another. This piece won an Honorable Mention at the 7th Philippine Pastel Convention on October 30, 2022. This work was displayed at the GSIS Museo ng Sining. Soft Pastel 20in x 26in 2022
